The entire production chain is in-house and is organized in a 25,000-square-meter area at three adjacent production sites.
High-precision mechanical processing
SMF Manufacturing is the historical headquarters of the SMF Group which deals with the production of all the machines, plants and systems for the subsidiaries.
Carpentry department
Our carpentry department has a production capacity of up to 38.000 man-hours per year. The workshop is equipped to fabricate medium and heavy steel structures up to 40 tons, with thicknesses up to 400 mm.
Machining department
Our machining department has a production capacity of up to 50.000 man-hours per year and is equipped for advanced CNC machining operations, including milling, boring, and turning, for components up to 14 m in length, 3.6 m in height, and 1.6 m in width.
Assembly department
Our assembly department has a production capacity of up to 70.000 man-hours per year and is equipped for the assembly and testing of equipment complete of on-board systems, handling units up to 15 m in height.
